I’m obsessed with all things beautiful. City skylines at night. Wedding cakes. Prom dresses.
But in real life, sometimes the flashy and colorful can distract us from the simple and natural.
When I think of natural beauty, I think of a child’s face as they sleep, my grandma’s hands as they kneaded bread, the lines of concentration on my dad’s forehead as he considers his diagnosis of a sick car engine.
Natural beauty is all around us, found almost everywhere. I love all things wild and colorful and love museums, art galleries, and occasionally, even graffiti.
But when it comes to timeless, effortless beauty, nothing beats nature and natural.
