I’m sure you’ve seen ads for plastic gadgets to use to microwave scrambled eggs. Well, such eggs are  just the beginning. And you don’t need a special plastic bowl. Any microwavable bowl will do that has a top to prevent splatters.

You can scramble eggs in the microwave. Prepare as if scrambling on the stove-top and stick in the microwave. Set it on ‘high’ for 30 seconds and then stir with a fork and repeat at 10-second intervals, stirring at each interval. Your eggs will be light, fluffy and delicious.

Fry an egg in your microwave. Grease the plate or bowl first with either bacon grease or butter. Then break the egg just as you would in a frying pan but be sure to puncture the yolk and white with a fork or knife before you start cooking. Cooking is the same as with scrambled eggs, but it probably won’t take as long.

Poached eggs are done exactly the same way as fried eggs but don’t let them cook too long. There isn’t much difference between microwaved poached and microwaved fried eggs. It’s mostly what you use to grease the plate with and how long you cook it.

Whatever way you cook eggs in your microwave, it’s quick, easy, and delicious.
