Did you know that although pure quartz is colorless, when it has impurities and imperfections it can become vibrantly red, green, yellow, blue and more?

Amethyst, with its gorgeous purple hue, is just one kind of imperfect quartz. I like that.

I like to think that my flaws and imperfections make me interesting, maybe even special. (If you’re reading this, friends and family, you can just keep your insights about my colorful flaws to yourself.)

Everyone is their own special color of imperfect!

Nice thought!
